Trent is currently serving in Ruston, LA. It's a college town, with Louisiana Tech and Grambling U there. Karl Malone has a home about 5 minutes away from Trent. All is going well for him. Although it is starting to "heat up". He is happy to report he has only worn short sleeve shirts since he's been there.
Last week he spent some time on "exchanges" in Arkansas. There are parts of 4 states in his mission and so far he has been in 3. Only Texas remains. The language can be difficult at times. He has admitted that there are some people that he really can't understand at all.
Overall, everything is going great. He and his companion taught 20 lessons last week. For his mission, he says that is good.

There is a tiny little corner of Texas Where Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma meet. There are three towns there Texarkana,Atlanta and New Boston Texas. Hopefully i'll figure out how to put a map on this blog soon.
He should have spent more time watching Water Boy to prepare his language skills.
