Trent is getting along great with his new companion. Elder Casperson is from Ogden. Trent said he played about every sport and is real nice.
The weather has been mellowing out. It's been down to 75 degrees and is "so nice". Tracting this summer Trent got pretty sweaty. So the cooler weather is great. Trent said they haven't had to ride their bikes much. The other missionaries they share the car with are on their last transfer. It sound like they are coasting, so the car is available.
Trent and his companion have been working really hard trying to find people to teach. Most of the people they have been teaching haven't been progressing. Most of the people don't want to read anything and many of them won't make followup appointments. They have been visiting with a guy name Bobby. He suffers from short term memory loss so they can't actually teach him. But they stop by and have "talks" with him. He doesn't always remember the missionaries. They did tract out a guy that Trent is pretty excited about. "We found this guy who is pretty cool. He has been on 7 tours of duty in the army. The movie black hawk down was based on him".

So is the guy with short term memory loss like the guy in 50 first dates that forgets every 10 seconds. If so that would be sweet.
I think they can get their first lesson numbers up really high if they just keep teaching that guy!!
Maybe they should make him a tape!!
