Week Ending September 3rd

Great news! Trent survived hurricane Gustav. He reported that the only way they even knew anything about it was through the members. So they decided to buy some extra food and water. He said that everyone was going crazy. The main interstate that heads north goes right by his apartment. It was so crowded that they closed down the southbound traffic and let all lanes go northbound. Now it is packed with people returning to the coast. He says that it has been raining solid since Sunday night and supposed to continue until Friday. Now the flooding is starting.

Trent was able to catch the first half of the Utah game last Saturday. He, of course, didn't mention how that was able to happen. He was disappointed by the penalties and thought they should have won by at least 40 points but they looked nice in the new uniforms.

P-day update: they went bowling last week. They were able to bowl 7 games. The bowling alley had "a great deal", $5.00 to get in and then $.25 for each game. Trent bowled a 208, a PR. They were going to head there again this week.

Trent can't believe that this week he hits the 6 month mark. "It has gone by kinda fast. But I've heard that 6-12 is the hardest". Trent's companion goes home next week, so another new comp coming.
