Tornado Hit Nearby

Sunday night we received a call from Brother Boddie of Shreveport. He mentioned that Trent and his companion were there with him. He likes to call the family's of the elders when he has them over on a holiday. He told us that Trent was doing great, looked good and was a great missionary. He also mentioned that they had been staying with him since Thursday when the tornado went through. Their apartment is fine but they were still without power. Hopefully it was going to be restored on Monday.

We hadn't even heard of a tornado hitting close, but apparently it did. We're hoping to get the full details in Wednesday's email.

It's good to know your son is alright even when you didn't know there was a danger!

I've been wondering if Trent was close to all these storms I've been hearing about! He probably has loved all the home cookin' he's been getting at the mission home! Cute Trenty.

Julie, they're still without power and are at my house again tonight. It's supposedly going to be restored tomorrow. I think their apartment complex is the only remaining place in Bossier without power. Of course, he's welcome to stay here as long as he needs to. They had a good day today and are working hard.

Crazy but so nice to hear that he's safe and sound and how nice of the member to take care of him and keep you updated. You've gotta love people like that!

Glad to hear that Trent is safe. We pray for his safety daily.

You say tornado, I say hurricane. They all seem to have something we worry about, don't they?
