Trent's companion was quickly transferred in the middle of a transfer period. Trent was made senior companion. He reports that his new companion is a sheltered kid from Riverton. It's been crazy to now be in charge of an area that he has only been in for 2 weeks. The AP's let them have their car for about 2 days so they could drive through the area and get to know it a little bit better. They had to drive through "the red zone". His new companion was "freakin out". He did say it was a little bit scary, but because they were in a car they were alright. (?) Now they are just working hard but it's been hard with the holidays approaching.
Update on the Brown's: "The 8 yr old got baptized last week. The 2 oldest are going to be baptized this Saturday if they pass their interviews. One of them has to get interviewed by the mission pres. So hopefully he can be baptized. He used to be kinda a thug. But he is so cool now."
On Christmas Eve they have plans with Sister Fuhriman, the presidents wife. He thinks they are going to make cookies or something. They then have a dinner appointment in nearby Madison for Christmas dinner. Trent was also excited that he found a coupon book on the side of the road, so they may get to go golfing on Christmas day.
It snowed in Jackson one day last week!

Good to hear that Trent is now the man in charge of the area. He will do a great job.
It sounds like Trent is more excited about the Browns baptism than he is about the coupon book - which sounds like his heart and mind are in the right place. I like to hear that he is having fun while doing the hard work.

We just received a new missionary in our ward this week and last night I met him at the ward Christmas party. No lie, he is the spitting image of Trent (they say everyone has a twin). I ran up to him and wanted to throw my arms around him (I stopped myself). TJ was a little freaked out too. That is how much he looked like Trent.
I love reading about Trent and how well he is doing. It always brightens my day to read about these missionaries.

today we got a christmas card from box and it is really cute. i love his blog notes they are adorable and he'll have fun at his christmas party making cookies! Hopefully he gets to go golfing!
