Week Ending February 11th

Things are going good in Bossier City. The Mom and daughter, Barbara and Bridgette, that came to church last week live in Arkansas, so Trent and his companion can only teach them at church. But they came back again this week and had some good questions. So they taught them a lesson. They are moving right along. This week they also had a member bring a friend to church. His name is John. They are teaching him with his member friend. John is also checking out a pentecostal church. But he has shown some interest in being baptized.

Trent still hasn't cooked the pulled pork for Sunday dinner. The ward had a linger longer this past Sunday so it wasn't going to work out. "Hopefully it goes good when I cook it."

A few notes from the area:

• Mardi Gras parade on Saturday, right in front of Trent's apartment. "Don't worry" he says, "it's not like New Orleans".
• The Bass Master Classic is coming to the area. It's the biggest fishing tournament in the world. Check it out on ESPN. They might get to go so watch for the elders.
